Zodiac CH601XL & XLi S-Light Sport Aircraft
The CH-601 XL is one of the new light sport aircraft manufactured by AMD. With the advent of the light sport aircraft, and pilot qualification rules you can now learn to fly and own your own aircraft for less than the cost of an RV or expensive sports car. The CH-601XL is a day night certified two seat light sport aircraft which uses the Continental O-200 100hp engine. Using only 5.5 gallons of fuel per hour this aircraft can become your “Harley” of the sky.

The CH-601XLi is one of the few certified light sport aircraft that is also certified for instrument flight. This aircraft is essentially the same as the XL except it meets all federal requirements for flight in weather. At almost one third the price of a comparable Cessna this aircraft is ideal for a flight school since it can be used for Private Pilot and instrument training. The XLi is also a great choice for the individual who enjoys traveling or travels for business and wants to avoid the lines at the airport.
